Today was so good I had to pick 2 pics to share.

Gil and I are visiting with friends on the Space Coast this weekend. Imagine our surprise when we found out there was a rocket launch scheduled, then rescheduled and then rescheduled again. This series of events put us in the perfect spot at the perfect time to watch GRAIL take off for the moon. This made me really happy!

After the launch, we drove to Stacey and Sanjay’s house for day 2 of our weekend of conspiring to inspire people to change the world. I feel like my brain my explode. And I say that in a positive way because I’m bursting at the seams with giddy anticipation for what’s to come. As you can see below, Gil and I are deep into whatever idea was being discussed as Lindsey snapped this photo of us.

003/365 My Blue Thursday

Gil snapped this shot of me outside the House of Blues in Orlando earlier tonight. We drove over right after work and got there with mere minutes to spare before Dirty Shannon took the stage. I love seeing these guys, and to witness them get such positive feedback from the audience is so freaking awesome.

Of course, as much as I love to see Dirty Shannon, I was tortured by the actual headliner, Slippery When Wet, a Bon Jovi tribute band. Well, tortured isn’t entirely a fair description. As much as I don’t really get into Bon Jovi (anymore), it was fairly entertaining to watch those guys parade around on stage as if they thought they were Bon Jovi. And, don’t even get me started on the fans with their Bon Jovi Tshirts (yes, these people came to see a Bon Jovi tribute band and wore their band Tshirt), the big, teased hair (that was the men) and let’s not forget the middle aged women in their too tight jeans and leather boots.

It was great to see our friends in Orlando and it was a great beginning to a weekend I’m looking forward to with lots of hopeful anticipation.
