basketball – Purrfectlee Imperfect

Tonight we celebrated the end of Danny’s basketball season. I think it was bitter sweet for Gil because they went out on kind of a bummer with their loss in the first round of the playoffs. Coach Gil blamed himself and said he was simply out-coached. I don’t completely agree with his analysis, but I’ll let him have this one. What I do know for sure is that there was no other coach on those courts that cared more or showed as much ‘spirit’ and passion for his boys as our Coach Gil, and for that, I think he should be celebrated as well.

Here’s to you, Coach Gil. You did a great job this season and I just want you to know that I’m proud of all the hard work and dedication you gave to those boys.
